Working with sets of 4 today for the Strict Press. Start at ~60% of 1RM and try to progress each round from there. The Strict Press doesn’t have the highest ceiling of potential for weight – since we’ve got 5 sets today, the first couple should feel fairly light and feel more like a warmup of the pattern. Keep the pelvis tucked and ribcage packed down, and press up and back to line the bar up over the shoulders at the top.
Then, it’s a Partner Party! Spend 5:00 at each station going for MAX reps with your partner (1 work / 1 rest). Rotate back and forth however you’d like, except for rowing: alternate every 100m.
