Several years ago I really got into running and making healthier choices in my life. Fitness and good health became more important to me as I got older. In addition to running, I have enjoyed biking, hiking and working out in a gym. For the past couple of years I have been searching for a gym I could really connect with...a place where I could work out with a group of people that I feel comfortable with and who would motivate me and hold me accountable for my fitness goals.
I had never heard about Farmgirlfit, nor did I know anyone who was a member. I simply noticed the facility when I would drive by it…one day I decided to stop and check it out! I am sure glad I did! Since joining I feel motivated and successful at achieving noticeable results in my overall fitness level. The staff truly cares about me and how I’m doing. People know my name and I know theirs and working out with this group is fun and challenging. I have gained more confidence in myself and I look forward to my workouts!
The first time I did a “double-under” was pretty exciting!
I am wanting to focus on weight-loss as well as strengthening and conditioning. I look forward to running once the weather improves.
I want to be able to keep up with my kids and grandkids as we all get older!
