When we think of Farmgirlfit, we envision someone like Laura, who grew up on a small sheep farm in NW Montana, was a wildland firefighter for 5 summers through college, and is now a mom of 2 young daughters. Laura has coached at Farmgirlfit since we opened in 2011 while also working as an Exercise Physiologist at St. Luke’s Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab.
She holds a MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Montana and a BS in Exercise Science from Pacific University in Oregon. For Laura, fitness is part of her everyday life. On her off days, if she’s not watching her husband, Jase, coach high school basketball, she loves to get outdoors, especially exploring Riverside State Park near her home with her daughters, Avery and Andi.
Glacier National Park, my parents' farm in NW Montana, Lake Pend Oreille, or at home with my family!
Of working my way through the early phases of being a mom. It has been hard, amazing, rewarding, and so fun. I love being a part of the mom-club at FGF!
