Julia entered the fitness world following a childhood of intensive sports including gymnastics, horse back riding, soccer, track and field, and cheerleading at the University of Montana. She graduated from EWU in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and soon after obtained the CSCS certification. It became vital to her to work in the fitness industry with like-minded individuals who were encouraging a lifestyle of true health, mentally and physically. She was drawn to Farmgirlfit for its inclusivity of women of all backgrounds, and its promise of high quality coaching and workouts. With sports being the majority of her childhood, Julia encountered a multitude of pain and injuries, which led her to continue to educate herself in the subject of enhanced mobility and quality of movement through systems such as FRC, Kinstretch, and PRI. Her favorite part of coaching is helping others move pain free and feel confident in their ability to participate in life and physical activity. In addition to coaching classes at Farmgirl, Julia also does private 1v1s!
I love to coach a Not For Time Grind - it's these workouts that I feel like I have the time to reallly get into those gritty details of movement, which is MY THING!!
Recently, I've been reading FOR FUN and playing my piano a lot. I'm quite the homebody and love a quiet night in. My dog is my baby and we love to hit the trails for walks as well.
I'm most proud of the inner strength I’ve built while battling mental health challenges. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve kept going—and I’m deeply grateful for the support I’ve had along the way.
lets hear some Pitbull—“Everyday above ground is a great day, remember that!”
